So, ignoring that groundhog incident a few days ago, I hope we actually have a spring this year in NYC. Last year was rough as we jumped from winter to summer. I did not miss the rains that spring usually brings but I did miss the temperatures.
If I have to name one thing I don't like about NYC, it is the winter season. It just is not like you see in the movies, folks. No walking around with only a cute turtleneck and a cashmere scarf thrown across ...throwing white snowballs and giggling with glee.
Most times, it is waddling about with four layers of unattractive bulk and sidestepping grey/brown slush that smells all the while muttering "dang this cold."
The sun is out today and we are supposed to get to 45 tomorrow! Time to bust out my sleeveless T.
